School Visits

Swindon has long been the butt of jokes but deserves better. Join Hannah on her mission to make us proud to call Swindon home.

“A Railway Town Called Swindon” seeks to make our incredible industrial and social history accessible and memorable. Written for children but loved by adults, the humour and detail of the illustrations  appeal to any age.
Helpful notes are available for teachers, and Hannah is also working on a short video to help children understand the Railway Village area.

Get in touch if you would like to arrange a school visit. These can involve quizzes, drawing skills, Q and A, discussions about sources, the inspiration behind and the process of making the book. Her unique approach to learning through story and image has been embraced by teachers and has helped students better understand local history.
